Acts 2:46 – "Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts."

Small Groups Fellowship

At Light of Christ Fellowship Small groups help Christians grow in their relationship with Jesus. We become students, followers and emulators of Jesus in order to reach and help others connect to Jesus. As disciples, we are called to: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20). We cannot fulfill this mission without a lifelong commitment to continue building our own relationship with Jesus, so that we may faithfully share the Gospel with others.

That commitment begins in worship, where were come together as a large group to acknowledge and worship God, and hear His Word and engage in study and fellowship. Small groups are the flip-side of the coin, where we gather in small groups, typically 6 to 20. Small groups allow for close relationships, where trust and service go hand in hand to build each other up in service to Christ.

In small groups, we engage in study of God’s word; we lift each other up in prayer; we engage in service to others in the community; we carry each other’s burdens and sorrows, and we celebrate each other’s joys. Most importantly, we reach out to others and provide a welcoming environment for new people where they can experience the peace that comes from Jesus.

Small groups help build disciples. As disciples, we celebrate in worship with the church worldwide, and join in small groups to demonstrate the love of Jesus to each other and everyone we meet in word and deed.

And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. (Acts 2:46-47)

Light of Christ Fellowship small groups meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly in members' homes, usually midweek in the evenings. Please contact us via phone, text, or email for more information on times, topics, and locations.
